Journal History
Launched by the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, the Iranian Journal of Numerical Analysis and Optimization (IJNAO) embarked on its mission in 2008 under the name "Mathematical Research Journal," officially authorized by the Ministry of Islamic Guidance. Since 2013, the journal has continued its dedicated service under the current name, aspiring to advance the science of mathematics in the domains of numerical analysis and optimization.
The primary objectives of IJNAO include fostering national and international collaborations among mathematicians and expanding the frontiers of mathematical knowledge. Over the years, the journal has evolved into a reputable platform for scholars within and outside the country to contribute to and engage with advancements in numerical analysis and optimization.
IJNAO operates under the auspices of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, a prominent institution committed to the pursuit of academic excellence. The journal's commitment to scientific transparency, ethical standards, and open-access principles has made it a reliable source for high-quality research articles. Under the Creative Common's Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, all published content is freely accessible to readers worldwide.
As IJNAO continues to enhance its global presence and contribute to the acceleration of scientific dissemination, it remains dedicated to providing a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas, discoveries, and innovations in the realms of numerical analysis and optimization.
